Since our inception in 2013 our priority has been to create attractive and usable islands of native  plants, based on the founders desire to do creative work that supports the environment.

We work on the premise that ALL plants are beautiful, that our water is precious, and that it should be used to support humans, local flora and fauna, and climate-appropriate plants. Shade trees are another valuable commodity that we and future generations will benefit from.   

We feel strongly that good design brings serenity and order to randomness.  We love the challenge of customizing our work to the very different microclimates and personal preferences of the Los Angeles clientele that make up our home base. 

A core mission is to share with others what we have learned. Seco Verde is delighted to teach many homeowner-oriented classes in landscape design, irrigation and the use of native plants in the garden.
